We insure your goods based on the declared commercial value and the shipping estimate that is provided at quoting. Your shipments are therefore insured against any partial or total damage, loss or theft.
What is not covered
Inherent defects or flaws on merchandise before shipment are not insured. We always check the condition of the goods at pickup. Read more here.
Up to €3,000,000 of commercial value
We can insure up to €1.000.000 per item without approval from our insurance. Above that amount, we need to place a special request. If accepted, we can insure items up to €3.000.000.
Item value-indexed decreasing insurance rates
Our ad-valorem insurance fees are comprised between 1% and 0.5% of the total declared commercial value of the item shipped.
