Step Inside Our Paris Warehouse
Our Le Bourget facility has been designed to meet the highest standards of fine art storage, handling, and preparation.
The facility includes:
2,500 m² of ground storage and 900 m² of mezzanine storage space, fully equipped with racking for art and furniture
100 m² of dedicated packing space, stocked with all necessary packing materials
A dedicated viewing room, ideal for client presentations, private viewings, and professional photo shoots
The warehouse is equipped with an advanced aerothermal heating system to maintain comfortable conditions throughout the space. However, shared storage areas operate at ambient temperature, and we do not offer shared temperature- or humidity-controlled storage. Clients requiring private, climate-controlled storage solutions are invited to submit a request to Convelio.
Beyond its physical infrastructure, the facility is powered by one of the most advanced Tier 1 Warehouse Management Systems available on the market. This technology enables precise, real-time synchronisation of inventory and storage data, providing instant visibility into stock, storage status, packaging type, and dimensions.
Secure Facilities and Bespoke Art Handling
The Le Bourget facility has been conceived with the highest safety and security standards in mind, offering the level of protection expected by leading galleries, collectors, and insurers. Access to the building is strictly controlled, with all entry points badge-protected and visitors only permitted to enter the warehouse when accompanied by authorised staff. A full register of all entries and exits is maintained, and areas designated for reserve storage are accessible only under the supervision of the warehouse manager and with the appropriate protective equipment.
Within the facility, security systems provide multiple layers of protection. High-definition surveillance cameras cover every entrance, corridor, and the warehouse floor itself, with live feeds monitored 24 hours a day. Motion and volumetric detectors track any unauthorised movement, and an alarm system is directly connected to a professional security company, ensuring immediate response to any intrusion attempt. The building’s structural design further strengthens security, with secure container loading docks and heavy-duty roller shutters.
Safety is addressed with equal attention. The warehouse is equipped with a network of fire detectors and regularly serviced firefighting equipment, including water-based extinguishers with additives and CO₂ extinguishers for electrical or liquid-based fires. Clearly marked evacuation routes are in place, and regular drills help ensure staff readiness.
The facility also benefits from its strategic location between three nearby police stations, providing added reassurance of rapid intervention if required.
Convelio also extends its commitment to security into the digital sphere. All operational data is hosted on encrypted cloud systems with multi-factor authentication, in full compliance with GDPR. Incident management protocols, strict vetting of third-party providers, and structured continuity planning ensure that digital resilience mirrors the robustness of the physical facility. In March 2026, Convelio completed its SOC 2 Type II renewal.
Authorised Bonded Storage
Convelio already operates a bonded section within the Paris warehouse, fully authorised by the Paris Customs Office. This allows non-EU goods to be stored with duties and taxes suspended.

Safe holding of items between two events
Preparation for client presentations
Building up stock in a cost-efficient manner
